CMA - AAC Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for the administration of medications under supervision of nursing staff. Supervises residents who are trained to self-medicate. Assists with health checks, vital signs, patient weights, and activities of daily living. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration and charting of medication. Must be adaptable to change in assignments both in areas of priority setting and role change. May encounter stressful situations and a busy, fast-paced environment. Required Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years experience as CMA in a clinical setting. Certification as Medical Aided by the TX Department of Health. CPR and SAMA upon hire and annually thereafter. Education Required:Certification as Medical Aided by the TX Department of Health. Location: 3550 W.
