The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation supports adults with Developmental Disabilities in the greater Houston, Texas area. The Center’s two locations, Cullen Residence Hall and Willow River Farms, require the support of 266 employees and more than 250 volunteers to respond to the needs of our clients and the people we serve. These resources enable over 700 mentally retarded individuals to build skills and remain active in our community. The Center is a private not-for-profit United Way Agency, which has for more than 60 years served children and adults through educational, residential and work training programs. The philosophy of The Center is that every person has value and worth, is entitled to the highest quality of life, and should be treated with dignity.
